Welcome to Jim and Jean Fairclough's Family Tree! We are having an exciting time working on this project. We last updated this information on January 26, 2010. A new resource which is now on the website is the book by C. C. Oakey, GREATER TERRE HAUTE AND VIGO COUNTY, which includes lots of information on the Hall and other related surnames, at http://www.jeanniemay.com/genealogy/OakeyVolumeII.pdf . This Tree is a work in progress and so some of the individuals in this tree, especially our more distant relatives, are not backed up by certified documentation, but rather from census records, which can have some inaccuracies in them, and other documents online at ancestry.com and elsewhere on the Internet. Some are sourced only from other online family trees and listed because they are very probable relatives and as we continue the research we want to remember to consider them. The sources are listed, so please evaluate for yourselves the accuracy according to the source(s) for the data. We definitely welcome any comments, suggestions, and corrections to this tree.
