Jason David Markiewitz was born in Tehachapi, California in February of 1976 and lived there for 18 years. Following his graduation from Tehachapi High School in 1994, he attended California State University-Fresno where he majored in Political Science and minored in Aerospace Science. During his time at CSUF, though engulfed in classes to support his major, he also spent many hours taking creative writing classes through the English Department. In May of 1998 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science as well as a commission in the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. Currently he is serving on active duty as a Captain with the USAF and stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in the southern California Mojave Desert.
Jason is also the owner of Rhythm Wind Games, a board game development company that is in production of a baseball-genre traditional family board game called "Safe at Home" due out in 2004.
His wife Diana is the owner of Diana's Enchanted Aisle, a full-scale wedding coordination business, is professionally trained by the Associationof Certified Professional Wedding Consultants, and is a member of the Bakersfield Bridal Association. She has successfully planned a number of weddings over the past two years and is in demand already for the Spring of 2004.
